Customer Reviews:
The salon is super sensory friendly
I had builder gel put on my nails today (Saturday 19th April 2025) at Glitching Beauty. The nail salon was on the ground floor. The salon is super sensory friendly and I love my nails! I’ll be back in 3 weeks to get them done again! I’ve attached my before and after pictures.

I can’t wait to come back
I have had my nails done once before in a “regular”nail salon and it was an extremely overwhelming and unpleasant experience and I didn’t think I’d ever get my nails done again, but then I found Rikki. Getting my nails done by them was the complete opposite experience. I came away from my appointment and it genuinely felt like I’d just spent a couple of hours over at my friends house having a lovely little pamper. And they did an amazing job of my nails too. Thank you Rikki, I can’t wait to come back! – Melanie x

Absolutely amazing nails. I showed a design I quite liked, and she nailed it (no pun intended). Great quick service and I didn’t have an appointment, they just accommodated me on a walk-in basis. I will return again. Thank you!

I always go to thorns for my nails and they’re always brilliant. They exceeded themselves this time by doing my nails despite them being very detailed and difficult. They came out looking absolutely amazing and would recommend thorns to anyone!

I can’t praise Nail it enough- I’ve been a regular customer now for over 12 months for both gel nails and gel pedicures and never leave disappointed. The care taken and the true artistry of their nail designs is impeccable. Very competitive prices too, I recommend. I’ve added some photos of my last few manicures

So friendly professional and knowledgeable
First time I’ve had my nails done in Newcastle so I took a big risk but I couldn’t have chosen a better salon than Nail It. So friendly professional and knowledgeable. Real care was taken of me and my nails. If I could take Nail It Lottie and Tia back to my home town I would. It was a pleasure meeting you both. Thank you for making my experience a positive one and I’ll definitely return when I return to Newcastle. Very highly recommended

We absolutely loved their unique “manicure roulette” experience, which offers a playful, randomized custom design if you want a fun surprise.
The quiet environment makes it feel like one of the most relaxing wellness centers Newcastle has to offer for winding down. They also use lightweight gel extension tips to provide instant, flawless length without using heavy chemicals.
Just keep in mind that they enforce a strict policy against removing any acrylic products applied by other salons. You’ll need to have those cleared off before our recommended team visits.

I’ll definitely be going back
Caitlin did my nails again and was brilliant as usual. I’m an awkward customer and never know what I want on them, but she comes up with brilliant designs every time.
She is a patient, friendly person. My nails are always a mess when I go to see her but they look fabulous when I leave.
She advised that because my nails were in such a poor state, it would be best to cut them short and put builder gel on them. They still looked lovely when she finished.
I’ll definitely be going back
