They guide clients through the entire process, from initial design to final manufacturing touches. Their workshop in Blaydon is the heart of their operation, where skilled craftsmen bring each project to life.
A standout feature was their ability to maximise storage in any setting. They offer custom cabinetry designed to provide ample storage and also complement the room’s aesthetic.
Clients also praise their excellent updates and clear timelines throughout the project. This helped give them peace of mind and made things easier for them.
But one issue stood out. After visiting the showroom, a client was asked to send in their measurements via email. However, the problem is that it took weeks for them to receive a reply.

From the start, the team worked closely with my neighbour to understand their needs. They offered solutions that made the most available space.
Their craftsmanship was evident in the practical and stylish cabinets they produced. The combination of hardwood and steel elements gave the interiors a modern yet timeless look that really suited them.
Their studio, located at 14 Foundry Lane, welcomes visitors. Clients can see work in progress and discuss ideas directly with the makers. It’s honestly a feature I found particularly helpful.
One thing to note is that Crescent Fifty One doesn’t offer lengthy warranties like some large manufacturers. This means clients don’t have long-term insurance if anything goes wrong in the next years.

“We commissioned Josh to make us a piece of furniture. Our house is 100 years old and so we did not want modern built in joinery in the alcove of our dining room. It doubles as a hobby room so we wanted somewhere that would store a lot of hobby equipment and enable it all to be invisible when we have visitors. We wanted a classic piece of furniture to coordinate with other furniture in the room and were inspired by old merchant chests. Josh met us at home quickly and we had a conversation so that he could understand what we wanted. . He had ideas, options and suggestions but was really keen for us to make decisions. Josh drew up some CAD drawings and made another visit to our home and we had a further video call to agree on every detail. Josh patiently amended the drawing until we gave it final approval and we discussed types of oak. He kept us up to date with the build. Six weeks later, we have the most beautiful piece of solid oak furniture, delivered and installed by Josh, with soft closing drawers, dovetailed joints and beautiful grain. We are beyond thrilled with it – photos don’t do it justice. It is incredible highly skilled craftsmanship and we love it. Josh is a really really nice person to deal with, pleasant, patient and very supportive. We cannot recommend him highly enough and we look forward to planning our next project and following his other work.”
