“MVH Rental is by far the best for minibus hire. Their communication has been excellent, I had a few queries, called a couple of times and all responses were keen with no hassles.
The booking was easy and clear, the email instructions were plain and easy to follow, so setting up the hire straight forward.
On arrival for collection all the staff were polite, friendly and courteous.
The minibus was parked up ready, immaculate condition, warmed up (it was an icy morning) and the transaction of paperwork required to be checked was swift.
The handover brief was great, controls etc, a walk round showing me the vehicle and pictures were taken emailed to me with my acceptance of hire signatures.
The best bit was when something happened beyond anyone’s control, MVH sorted the issue with no quibble and gave a 5 star performance, this is a fine example of an independent business giving a service that shows they care, it is the gold standard that national companies should learn from.
Returning the minibus was again quick and slick.

Avis is extremely convenient for travellers, thanks to its location right in the terminal at Newcastle International Airport. Additionally, their fleet is diverse, offering something for every client’s needs.
What stood out immediately was the speed and courtesy of the staff at the counter. One customer remarked on the process of collecting the vehicle, saying the staff were “friendly, efficient, and courteous”.
They also offer a “Worry Free” option. The zero liability for damage and theft protection provides additional coverage, giving you peace of mind while using the vehicle.
On the flip side, there were a few reports of communication difficulties when trying to extend the booking or contact the branch afterwards. Improving the communication system can enhance the overall process and reduce negative reviews.
