I recently hired Bulldog Building, a family-run company, for a home renovation. They specialise in kitchen remodelling, structural work (including chimney breast removal or full renovations), and new builds.
They worked on my house with their sister company, Bulldog Kitchens, handling structural wall removal while building a kitchen design that fit my home.
Thanks to their problem-solving approach, when unexpected issues came up, they quickly offered solutions (that met building regulations, of course!). Their coordination was smooth, hands-on, and hassle-free.
While they don’t advertise lengthy guarantees like a 25 or 30-year insurance, their Federation of Master Builders membership adds credibility to their name.
Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the communication. They sometimes required a few follow-up check-ins to ensure everything was understood.

Hearing that made me check out their services. I was impressed that they also cover a wide range, including stone, tile, and ceramic cutting. They can even create custom designs.

However, one snag noted by my neighbour was that the company doesn’t offer services like waterproofing or damp proofing.
